Easy forms, quick setup

Used Fillout to make a simple contact form. It was easy to set up. Published it quickly. No issues with it. Got the job done.

Consistent performance, useful features

I've been using Fillout for a while now, mainly for event registration forms and some internal employee engagement surveys. This time, I set up a new multi-page application form. Just like before, the process was straightforward. The conditional logic worked flawlessly, which is a big deal for us. I've tried other form builders in the past, but Fillout consistently delivers. Their integrations, especially with Notion, are really helpful. That's why I keep coming back; it's reliable and the features are always improving.

Good value for annual plan

I was looking for a form builder and Fillout caught my eye with their annual billing discount. I decided to go with the yearly plan, and it definitely saved me some money compared to paying monthly. I created a few lead capture forms and a customer satisfaction survey. The forms work well, and the integration with Airtable was smooth. Overall, I feel like I got good value for what I paid, especially with that 20% off. It felt worth the purchase.

Thinking of moving all our client intake forms from Typeform to Fillout. Heard good things about their Notion and Airtable integrations. Anyone made the switch and have feedback?

T TechieTina 2 hours ago ✓ Best Answer
I did exactly that a few months ago for my small agency. The Airtable integration with Fillout is way more robust, especially for conditional logic. Plus, removing Fillout branding on the paid plans is a huge plus for professionalism.

Did you notice any speed difference in form loading?
7
G GeekyRahul 1 hour ago
That's good to hear. Was it hard to migrate existing forms?

D DataDude 39 minutes ago
Second this. Typeform's integrations always felt a bit… basic.

P Priya 3 hours ago
We use it for our internal Notion forms now. It's so much better than just embedding Google Forms. The multi-page forms feature is also really clean.

W WorkSmart 2 hours ago
Does it handle file uploads well to Notion?

G GeekyRahul 1 hour ago
Notion forms are what I'm really eyeing. Our current setup is messy.

S Samir 2 hours ago
I'm still on Typeform. Is Fillout really that much better or just newer? Heard they have good payment integrations though.
5
P Priya 1 hour ago
I think it's more flexible, especially if you're deep into Notion or Airtable.
6
T TechieTina 1 hour ago
They integrate with Stripe and PayPal, I use Stripe and it's been flawless.

Finally made the jump to Fillout from Typeform. The pricing difference for similar features was just too much to ignore, especially with the annual billing discount. Hoping it lives up to the hype for my lead gen forms.

I got in on a Black Friday deal last year for a higher tier. The Salesforce integration has been a lifesaver for our sales team. Definitely check that out if you use Salesforce.

P PriyaS 1 month ago
Oh, that's good to know! We use Salesforce. Is it fairly easy to set up?
6
N NikhilS 1 month ago
Yeah, it's pretty straightforward. Just map your fields. Saves a ton of manual data entry.

R Rahul87 1 month ago
Nice! I made that switch a while back too. Fillout's conditional logic is way more intuitive, I found. You'll like it.
7
P PriyaS 1 month ago
Good to hear! That's one of the main things I'm excited about. Typeform's conditional stuff always felt clunky.

A AmitM 1 month ago
Yeah, definitely better. Are you using it for anything complex?

Welcome to the club! Are you on the Pro plan or something higher? Curious about the free plan comparison too, if you looked at that.

C coolboy88 1 month ago
Makes sense. I'm still on the free one for simple contact forms, but thinking of upgrading soon.
3
S Sneha 1 month ago
The free plan is pretty good for basic stuff though. Enough to test it out properly.

I went straight for Pro with the annual discount. The free plan seemed a bit limited for what I need, especially with response limits and branding.

Anyone else finding their form analytics a bit... delayed sometimes? I set up a new event registration form and the numbers aren't updating in real-time like I'd expect.

K Karan 3 weeks ago
Yeah, I've noticed that too. Not super delayed, but definitely not instant. Usually catches up within an hour or so for me.
7
A Anjali 3 weeks ago
Okay, glad it's not just me. An hour isn't terrible, but for a live event sign-up it's a bit annoying.
3
D Deepak91 3 weeks ago
Same here. I just refresh it a few times.

Following. Haven't used the event registration forms much, but good to know.

Good question. I was thinking of using it for an upcoming workshop.

S Sara 3 weeks ago
Hmm, mine usually updates pretty quick. Are you using any specific integrations with that form? Sometimes that can affect it.
9
S Sara 3 weeks ago
Could be. Stripe sometimes takes a sec to confirm. Did you check the Sheets directly?
8
A Anjali 3 weeks ago
It's integrated with Google Sheets and Stripe for payments. Maybe the payment processing is causing a slight lag?

Just got hit with a higher renewal price for my Fillout Pro plan, anyone else seen this? My annual discount seems to have disappeared.

P PoojaR 3 weeks ago
Yeah, mine too! I thought I locked in a rate but it went up by like 20% on the auto-renewal. Had to contact support.
10
N NikhilS 3 weeks ago
What did support say? Did they give you back the old rate?
6
A AishaK 3 weeks ago
Same thing happened to me last month. They said the promo was only for the first year.
3
A AmitM 3 weeks ago
I'm still on the free plan, so no renewal issues here haha. But this makes me think twice about upgrading.
6
C coolboy88 3 weeks ago
The free plan is pretty solid for basic stuff though.

R Rahul 3 weeks ago
Mine renewed fine, but I signed up during their Black Friday sale, maybe those deals are different from regular annual discounts?
11
D Deepak87 3 weeks ago
Could be. I missed Black Friday last year.

Yeah, Black Friday deals are usually better. I got a good one too.

So, I'm thinking of using Fillout for client forms that contain sensitive info. How secure is it? Like, is it HIPAA compliant or anything like that?

K Kevin M. 1 month ago
Yeah, they mention HIPAA compliance on their site. I think you might need a specific plan for that, but it's definitely an option.
0
M Mike Beaumont 1 month ago
They have SOC2 and HIPAA compliant options. I'd double check their specific plan details for the HIPAA stuff, but they definitely offer it. It's not just a basic 'secure' form builder.

Does Fillout ever do Black Friday sales? Trying to time my upgrade to a yearly plan if there's a good discount coming up.

B Beth J. 2 months ago
They usually do, yeah. I got a pretty sweet deal last Cyber Monday on their annual plan. Keep an eye out around then.
0
G Greg 2 months ago
I think they had a Black Friday thing last year, but I dunno if it's guaranteed every year. Usually the best discount is just going with the annual billing anyway.

Hey, I'm just starting a small business. Is there a free version of Fillout? Or do I have to jump straight into a paid plan?

W Wendy 1 month ago
They have a free plan, yeah! It's pretty generous too, like for basic forms and a decent number of responses it's totally fine to start with.
4
N Noor 1 month ago
Free plan is cool, I used it for ages before upgrading. Just know that some of the advanced integrations or removing branding might be locked behind a paywall.

Thinking of switching from Jotform. How does Fillout compare for like, building really complex forms with a ton of conditional logic and stuff? Is it better or just another one of those form builders?

A Alex Vargas 2 months ago
I moved my whole business over from Jotform to Fillout last year. For conditional logic, it's way more intuitive. Like, you can build out pretty wild branching forms without pulling your hair out.
5
L Laura 2 months ago
yeah, I use it with Airtable and the conditional stuff is super solid. Never had a problem even with like, 20+ different logic jumps.
